Some issues improved within communities, families and organisations with restorative approaches are:

·         Relationships;

·         Meeting needs;

·         Engagement and participation;

·         Challenging behaviour;

·         Conflict resolution – professional or personal;

·         Skills and confidence to resolve conflict issues effectively;

·         Partnership problem solving;

·         Transformation in working practice and environment.

Clustiau Caredig

Mae'r clustiau caredig yn grŵp o blant sydd wedi cael ei hyfforddi gan hyfforddwyr Partneriaeth Gweithredu Adferol Cymru. Mae'r disgyblion yma wedi ymgeisio am y swydd trwy ysgrifennu ffurflen gais a chael cyfweliad swyddogol. Mi fydd y disgyblion yma yn rhoi cyngor a chymorth i ddisgyblion yn ystod amser chwarae ac amser cinio.

Nod y clustiau caredig yw i;

♦roi cymorth, cyngor a helpu disgyblion sy'n cwympo mas ar yr iard,

♦helpu disgyblion cyfathrebu gyda'i gilydd i geisio cyfaddawdu a datrys materion eu hun,

♦datblygu hyder disgyblion i ddatrys materion eu hun trwy annog cyfathrebu a gwrando rhagorol, a pharch.

Dydy clustiau caredig ddim yn trwsio sefyllfaoedd neu yn cymryd ochr. Os mae'r clustiau caredig yn meddwl bod disgybl mewn perygl maent yn dweud i aelod o staff yn syth.

Mae'r clustiau caredig yn dîm rhagorol o ddisgyblion sydd wedi derbyn hyfforddiant proffesiynol er mwyn cyflawni'r rôl bwysig yma. Maent yn dîm hyderus, aeddfed, parchus ac ystyriol. Byddant yn hwyluso'r broses o adeiladu perthnasau ar ôl sefyllfa o wrthdaro.

Clustiau Caredig

The Clustiau Caredig (peer mediators) are a group of pupils that have been trained by the Wales Restorative Approaches Partnership. These pupils applied for the job by completing a job application and they all sat a formal interview. The pupils will be on hand on the yard each play time and dinner time to offer assistance and support.

The aim of the Clustiau Caredig is to;

♦offer support, advice and help pupils that have fallen out with each other on the yard,

♦help pupils communicate with each other and try and encourage them to resolve and compromise in situations of disagreement,

♦help improve pupils confidence to resolve their own issues through modelling excellent listening, communication and respect.

The Clustiau Caredig do not fix situations or take sides when it comes to scenarios of conflict, disagreement or falling out. Where they believe a child is in danger, or poses a danger to anyone else they contact a member of staff immediately.

The Clustiau Caredig are a professionally well-trained team of confident, mature, respectful and considerate pupils.
